Dermal Fillers

visible changes in your look

With age, the presence and action of hyaluronic acid in the skin degrades, which manifests itself in visible changes such as wrinkles, furrows, folds and distortion of the facial contours. In order to stop and reverse this process, we actively use the so-called fillers. Currently, the most popular substance used to fill wrinkles and furrows is hyaluronic acid.

Dermal Fillers can be used to help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, furrows, sagging skin, and other signs of aging. Treatment of injecting dermal fillers into problem areas, can be also used for hyaluronic acid restoration in your skin, which leads to improvement of hydration, softness and volume of your skin. It gets healthy, bright look, that makes you feel younger! Commonly used for:

  • pluming lips,
  • enhancing shallow contours,
  • softening facial creases,
  • removing wrinkles,
  • improving appearance of scars.

What are dermal filler injections?

Fillers are made of sugar molecules or composed of hyaluronic acids, collagens (which may come from pigs, cows, cadavers, or may be generated in laboratory), the person's own transplanted fat, and bio-synthetic polymers. Some dermal fillers can last from 6 to 12 months, while other work form 2 to 5 years. In addiction to creating a rejuvenated and more youthful appearance, dermal fillers have many other benefits. They are minimally invasive, don't take much time to perform, and don't require recovery time. What's most important they are safe, and give you instant results.

How is it performed?

Filling wrinkles is done by injecting into the appropriate depth of the skin, and all various gel particles are matched to the tissue structure of a given layer of the skin. This ensures an improvement in the volume and firmness of the skin by appropriately lifting sagging tissues. This action eliminates the visible signs of aging. Hyaluronic Acid works for a long time, but not permanently. The human body has its own system of enzymatic breakdown of hyaluronic acid. The effect after the treatment usually lasts from 6 to 18 months, after which the hyaluronic acid is naturally absorbed (biodegradable).

Depending on the depth of the furrow or wrinkles, different types of hyaluronic acid are administered to the appropriate depth. Treatments do not require special preparation on the part of the patient. As hyaluronic acid is introduced into the skin with a thin needle, in order to improve the patient's comfort, the skin should be anesthetized before the procedure. For shallower procedures, apply anesthetic cream for approx. 0.5 hour. For deeper, e.g. filling of nasolabial furrows, we perform regional anesthesia - just like at the dentist's. The treatment lasts up to 30 minutes and the effect is immediate. Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be slightly red and swollen. These symptoms disappear within a few hours or a few days, so the patient can return to his / her activities for the 2nd day.
